Unless anyone wants to organise something specific, we have this down as an informal play day - all welcome, come along and use the school however you wish; we haven't had one in this format for a while, nice and relaxed (we do not have anything at cholwell booked until the end of July, so last chance to use the school with the parelli group for a while).

Can you please confirm you wish to come along, and whether for the morning, or the whole day, to ensure we have enough people to cover school hire please, we may just do the morning

A DVD for every horse owner - it teaches a 10 minute weekly stretch programme for horses - to improve performance, prevent stiffness and help you notice problems before they become disasters.

Devised and presented by Celia Cohen, ACPAT (A), a human and veterinary physiotherapist. Celia works alongside equine vets to treat all kinds of horses from family ponies to top racehorses and eventers. She believes that if everyone stretched their horses once or more a week, half her clients would not have a problem in the first place; and the other half would notice much sooner! That is why she devised this programme. On this DVD she shows how the stretches look on an experienced horse and how to teach them to a new horse. She explains what you are looking for and when you need help from your vet or physio. There is also a handy plastic pocket reminder card to take with you when you stretch your horse. This is 10 minutes a week that your horse will thank you for every day!

being held at Bow Crediton on 25th-27th April. If anyone would like further details they can either e-mail or call Gini on gini@ thepainfreehorse .co.uk 07753835558. You can either bring your own horses( small charge for stabling/hay etc) or work with one of ours. We have 3 places left so first come first served however if interest is high it would be possible to run another course in early May. There will also be a level 2 course being held at the same venue during the summer with priority being given to people who attended our level 1 course.
